A good vacation.

The FIRST thing we did was go fishing.

We love St. Elmo and the Chipmunks.

With Fists full of dirt for the Prairie dogs.

 Marmot!

Getting to see these two was SO good!

Love seeing our three girls together.

Earlier this Summer we went to Colorado for vacation.  We had a great time and enjoyed spending time together as a family somewhere that we all love.  This was really the first time we have been where the girls will remember the trip and hopefully it will be an annual one and we can show them all the things we love about the mountains.  They will grow up with an appreciation for the importance of nature and the majesty of the mountains.  They had a blast and they were such troopers in the car - yes, we drove!  I can't wait to do it again next year.

Three...not a baby anymore.

The end of May Hayden turned three.  Hard to believe.  And she has lived up to the stigma that goes along with being three and pushing all the limits.  We started out trying to blow her candles out outside, but they would not stay lit, so I told her to just pretend to blow out the candle and you can see by the look on her face that did not work.  We all had to go inside so the festivities could continue.  Amazing how two children from two people can be so entirely different.  She's hilarious and much less serious than her sister.  She loves to laugh and make her sister laugh and make up words and songs and keep us entertained.  Life wouldn't be complete without her.  How thankful we are for her and her spirit.

March was busy!  We took our annual trip to Wye Mountain to play in the daffodils then our cousins from Oklahoma came to visit the first half of spring break and the second half we went to Houston to visit our other cousins!  It was lots of fun!
